The Santa Fe CommuniTree Network is a new initiative from the Santa Fe Watershed Association, aimed at sustaining and expanding ecologically-appropriate vegetative cover and urban tree canopy throughout the Santa Fe River watershed. Internally, we accomplish this through plantings in rain gardens and riparian restoration. As a ‘Network,’ we connect with and support the City of Santa Fe’s TreeSmart Santa Fe Program and Bees, Trees, and Water Campaign, Santa Fe County’s vegetation and canopy goals, as well as the initiatives of other fabulous environmental and volunteer groups.
