Sharps and Biohazards Workshop + Cleanup

Join us in supporting American Rivers’ national effort to keep our waterways clean and healthy by joining a community cleanup in your local watershed. Be sure to sign up with this link so we can have a proper headcount.
WHEN:
Come at 10:00 a.m. for a brief training on proper collection and disposal of needles and other biohazards one might encounter in our waterways, and resources available to support our watershed stewards. Training will be led by Max Avery with Southwest Care.
WHERE:
2119 W Zia Road. Please park in the small lot. You’ll see a sign indicating the spots are for the trail.
Let us know if you’ll be conducting a cleanup elsewhere that day, too, so we can count your efforts toward this national event. Thanks for all you do!
