Myco-remediation Workshop
July 23 @ 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Want to hang out with a fun guy and learn about fungi? Join SFWA and RainCatcher’s Reese Baker for a workshop on myco-remediation, or the use of fungi to help clean up environmental pollutants.
Reese has been inoculating elm logs with fungal spores and installing them in rain gardens to mitigate the pollutant load entering our waterways from roads and other impervious surfaces. During this workshop you will learn the process of inoculation as well as the many benefits of this approach.
