Erosion Control Workshop

Soil erosion is a serious issue, but there are simple and powerful ways to manage it. Help make a difference for the Santa Fe River at this hands-on workshop where you’ll learn how to build a media luna, a rock rundown, and a one rock dam.

WHEN: 9 a.m. – 12 p.m., Thursday, October 17, 2024
WHERE: Meet at Calle Don Jose and Santa Fe River Road. You can use this Google Maps pin. Parking available at Santa Fe River Road. We’ll cross the river to get to the work site, so please wear shoes that can get wet!
WHAT TO BRING:
- Old, comfortable work clothes
- Closed-toed shoes that can get wet
- Hat, sunglasses, sunscreen
- Water bottle and snacks
