Help clean up a stretch of the Santa Fe River on Sunday, March 23 from 10am-12pm! The cleanup will begin at 10:15am.

The group will meet at the park on San Ysidro Crossing (across from Reunity Resources) and clean down to Romero Park (approx 1 mile)

Wear comfortable clothes that can get dirty — consider the weather and closed toe/waterproof boots for protection. Please bring any water and snacks that you will need — consider carrying a backpack or other way to keep your hands free. Don’t forget sun protection (sunglasses, sunscreen, hat, etc).

Why watershed cleanup: The Rio Grande supports countless wildlife refuges and wilderness areas as it flows to the Gulf of Mexico—but its health starts upstream. Since the Santa Fe River flows into the Rio Grande, keeping it clean not only helps our local community and habit
